Israel, Hamas Speaks On Temporary Ceasefire

Israeli Armies Find Bodies Of Hostages In Gaza, Reveals Next Action Against Hamas

The office of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Hamas on Monday denied reports of a temporary ceasefire in Gaza.

There had been reports that the war between Israel and Gaza was ceased to enable humanitarian aid to come in and foreigners to leave at the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt.

A statement released from Netanyahu’s office reads, “There is currently no ceasefire and humanitarian aid in Gaza in return for removing foreigners.”

According to CBS, Hamas official, Izzat El Reshiq also stated that there was no truth to reports about the opening of the Rafah border crossing or temporary ceasefire.

In a related development, the Israeli military has announced its next action after discovering the lifeless bodies of some hostages who were abducted by Hamas militants days ago.

During a briefing yesterday, Israeli military spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner, said the bodies of the hostages were seen during operations inside Gaza last week.

Israel had said earlier that at least 120 people were abducted when Hamas fighters launched attacks inside Israel on October 7, resulting in at least 1,300 deaths.

Since then, the Israeli military has conducted what it termed localized raids inside Gaza to support an air campaign on the territory that the Hamas government claims has resulted in at least 2,215 deaths.

Giving further details on the recent operation, Lerner stated that the bodies of hostages were discovered during these “small, close-perimeter raids into the Gaza Strip, noting that the Israeli military has carried out air raids on thousands of Hamas targets in Gaza.
