Flashback: Tinubu Passed His Exams From Home

On August 10, 2022, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, defended the academic records of President Bola Tinubu in the build-up to the 2023 presidential election.

Recall that Keyamo was the Chief Spokesman for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, and Tinubu was the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

During an interview on Arise News on August 10, Keyamo stated that the certificate controversy surrounding the APC presidential candidate was mere propaganda.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) stated that the Chicago State University (CSU) had written that Tinubu attended the institution and graduated with honours equivalent to a first-class degree.

When asked about the primary and secondary schools that Tinubu attended, Keyamo stated that in those days, great men like elder statesman, Afe Babalola wrote their GCE examinations from home because not everybody went to the four walls of schools.

The former minister added that the former Governor of Lagos State did not reveal to him the primary and secondary schools he attended.
