Natasha Akpoti is declared winner of Kogi Central Senatorial election by tribunal

Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has been declared winner of the February 25 Kogi Central Senatorial election, by an election petition tribunal sitting in Lokoja.  In a judgement delivered on Wednesday, September 6, the tribunal Chairman, Justice K.A. Orjiako said Natasha, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, scored 54,064 votes to defeat his closest rival Sadiku-Ohere of the All Progressives Congress who polled 51,291 votes. Ohere was also ordered to pay Akpoti-Uduaghan N500,000 for the cost of the petition.The post Natasha Akpoti is declared winner of Kogi Central Senatorial election by tribunal appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
